At last ! This album of the leader Pierre Bertrand – this mad and musicaholic creator. As co-director of the Paris Jazz Big Band, Pierre Bertrand also prepared this new album, composed the soundtracks of the movie “La Grande Vie” and wrote the music of the new episodes of the famous children tales of “Martine” told by the french actress Marie-Christine Barrault. Pierre Bertrand has explored music where the melody is deeply inspired by mediterrannean music and flamenco.
Although he has a classical background, Pierre Bertrand is a jazz leader and has played with the most distinguished musicians like Louis Winsberg (guitars), Minino Garay (drums), Alfio Origlio (piano), Jérôme Regard (doublebass) and Xavier Sanchez (cajon).
